Are You A Consumer Or A Creator?

Are You A Consumer Or A Creator?

We can’t really be both at once.

But we usually start our day by being a critic. Browsing through social media and the news to judge positively or negatively about what others are doing.

We finish our day as an audience member, browsing through videos and articles.

We become a consumer day-in and day-out. Without enough ample space to embrace the role of a creator without interference.

Creating as an audience member isn’t really creating. It only leads to more critique and ego. It’s not about the work anymore. It’s about the reception.

So it’s up to you to decide if you can take the time out to stop being a consumer. And be a creator for your work instead.
